    Shayn Roby’ Take: A lot of parity exists in college football. However, it’s clear that there is still quite a gap between the caliber of play in Conference USA &the Mountain West and that of the other major conferences in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The Sun Belt and American Athletic Conference have at least managed to sport an above .500 record in inter-conference play so far.
