Shayn Roby’s Take: The final weekend of college football that sets the table for the holiday bowl season and the national championship picture began with an overtime game, with the Louisville Cardinals emerging as 31-24 victors. It is a sign of surprises and excitement to follow on Friday and Saturday. In the SEC Championship game, Auburn beat Missouri by 17 points in a 59-42 shootout, while Michigan State upset undefeated Ohio State 34-24 in the Big Ten Championship game. The War Eagles will likely face off against the Florida State Seminoles, who disposed of the Duke Blue Devils in a 45-7 blowout.
