Sam Houston St. now holds the top ranking among FCS teams in this week’s Roby Ratings as they hung on to defeat Monmouth 21-15 in a nail biter. The Bearkats moved to 7-0 on the season with the win and face the North Dakota St. Bison in the quaterfinal round of the FCS Spring Playoffs.

Sam Houston St. remains atop the Roby Ratings for FCS schools with a Roby Rating of 26.78, which gives the Bearkats a #32 overall ranking in the Division I world of college football. James Madison is still unbeaten and has a 5.71 Roby Rating which places the Dukes with an overall ranking of #63.
Sam Houston St. was idle this weekend, and remained as the top-rated FCS school at an overall ranking of #32. Delaware moved into the second highest position behind the Bearkats with a 35-21 victory over Rhode Island and now holds the #48 slot.
#32 Sam Houston St. is the top-rated FCS team, as it pounded Lamar 62-7. Their closest FCS challenger in the Roby Ratings is #48 Incarnate Word, who beat Southeastern Louisiana 56-45.
The Bearkats of Sam Houston St. steamrolled Nicholls St. 71-17 to move into the #32 spot in the world of college football, an indeed lofty spot for an FCS school. They are followed closely by the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota, who currently remain undefeated at 4-0. They defeated the Leathernecks of Western Illinois 38-21 on Saturday and currently hold the #35 slot in the Roby Ratings for College Football.
